Course Lateral border of psoas major muscle, inferior through the anterior abdominal wall, anterior to quadratus lumborum muscle until the iliac crest, through the transversus abdominis and internal oblique muscles, then through the superficial inguinal ring.
Sensory innervation Skin to inguinal region, small area of medial thigh, upper scrotum/labia.
Motor innervation Transversus Abdominis, Internal Oblique
