For the treatment of trigger finger
Procedure
Inject into the palmar surface of the hand, toward the pulley at the base of the finger (A1 pulley) and maximal point of tenderness (or the nodule, if palpable).

Aftercare
Consider a finger splint to rest the finger for a few days after the injection. Success occurs in up to 75%, and may be effective for up to 3 months. Consider surgery if severe symptoms and failed trial of the above treatment.
