Elbow osteoarthritis is extremely rare due to it being a non-weight bearing joint. Risk factors include intraarticular fractures, avulsion injury to the humeral condyles (so called Little League elbow), and osteonecrosis. Any elbow deformity should raise suspicion for an underlying inflammatory arthritis.
