Glyceryl Trinitrate is a treatment for Tendinopathy. It is applied to the degenerative area. There are two formulations in New Zealand.

  • Patches - Use 5mg/24 hour Nitroderm TTS. Or 10mg/24 hour but put medical tape under half of it (can't cut it because the medication leaks out)
  • Ointment - 0.2% Rectogesic.
