Radial neuropathy at the spiral groove is also known as saturday night palsy.
Clinical Features
Sensory impairment of dorsal aspect of the lateral hand, part of the thumb, and proximal aspect of the dorsal 2-4 fingers.
Muscles affected are extensor indicis, extensor digitorum communis, extensor carpi ulnaris, long head of extensor carpi radialis, supinator. The triceps are spared.
