Pathophysiology | Entrapment of the radial nerve at the radial groove of the humerus |
Clinical Features | Loss of sensation of the dorsal aspect of the lateral hand, part of the thumb, and proximal aspect of the dorsal 2-4 fingers. Weakness of extensors. |
Clinical Features
Sensory impairment of dorsal aspect of the lateral hand, part of the thumb, and proximal aspect of the dorsal 2-4 fingers.
Muscles affected are extensor indicis, extensor digitorum communis, extensor carpi ulnaris, long head of extensor carpi radialis, supinator. The triceps are spared.
